The Diaoyutai Hotel (Diaoyutai dajiudian) is located to the southeast of Yuyuantan Park (Yuyuantan gongyuan). It is a two storey hotel about 45km from the airport and 6km from the railway station and the city center. Neither the greatest nor the worst of locations.

This five star hotel has 204 guestrooms, with either standard rooms or suites all with air-conditioning, satellite TV, a minibar and IDD phones. For guests use there is also a gymnasium, a beauty salon, and a department store. Business facilities include a business center, a multi function hall equipped with advanced lighting and audio facilities and a 6 simultaneous language interpretation system.

Beyond this the facilities here are minimal. There is just one Chinese restaurant and a bar & coffee lounge.
