The Sea Horizon Hotel (Haitian baiyun dajiudian) is definitely for those visiting Dalian on pleasure. Situated on the Southern Sea Road, the hotel is ideal for anyone looking for a little sun and fun, although it is a little far out from the city center for those after a bit of shopping or Western-style nightlife. It does, however, face both mountains and sea, making for a relaxing stay and is only 5km away from the Dalian Xinghai Convention Center.

A total of 189 rooms, from standard to luxury, are contained within this small hotel, all of the rooms looking out on to the sea in front or the green mountains behind. All are equipped with air-conditioning, satellite TV, minibar and internet access. Although   additional facilities here are minimal, they are adequate, and the business facilities should cover most needs. The business center provides full secretarial service, with a number of variously sized conference rooms and a banquet hall (200 people capacity) for guest use. More excitement can be had in the nightclub.

The dining services here provide Chinese/Asian in the Paradise Seafood Restaurant, Japanese in the Sazanami Japanese Restaurant and Western food in the Along the Bay Restaurant. The Balcony Bar is the best of all though, which allows you to enjoy the sunshine with drinks and an uninterrupted sea view.
