Built in 1911 and redecorated in 1955, the Zhanqiao Hotel was built according to European design principles, mainly in a German style. The hotel is located near the Number Six Beach, and is a great spot to appreciate the sunrise from. It is about 1km from the railway station, 4km from the harbor and 30km from the airport. A great location and fairly priced, this is one of the more convenient of all the Qingdao hotels. There are more than 100 suites and rooms here, equipped with central air conditioning, TV and IDD phones. The hotel has several banquet halls and restaurants which serve both Chinese and Western food. The restaurants here are especially renowned for their local seafood dishes. |
