The government controlled hotel rate for 103rd and 104th Chinese Export and Import Commodities Fair (Canton Fair) in Guangzhou will remain the same as last year.

The maximum allowed rate is RMB 1,990 (USD 283) for standard rooms in five-star hotels, while the lowest is RMB 505 (USD 71.9) for a standard room in a two-star hotel.

Price authorities said that, the allowed rates are the hotel rate ceilings. Hotels can set their rates and concessions according to the hotel rate ceilings. Business standard hotels can consult the allowed rate for two-star hotels. And the maximum rate of non-star hotels must be under the allowed rate for a two-star hotel.
